Augmented Reality (AR) is a technology that enhances your real-world environment by overlaying digital information, like images, sounds, or animations, onto what you see through devices like smartphones or AR glasses. Think of a seamless blend between digital and physical realms! It’s like having a superpower that allows you to see extra layers of information or fun visuals right in front of you, making everyday experiences more interactive and engaging.
How are Litary's AR experiences/content created?
The creation of an AR experience is a thoughtful and detailed process, transforming concepts into fully realized interactive elements. For each individual image, artwork, or illustration in our Litary-integrated books, a dedicated multimedia production team collaborates closely. This team, consisting of experts in film, motion graphics, sound design, and visual artistry, works together to design and develop every aspect from the ground up. Each piece of content is intricately linked to its corresponding image and message, ensuring that what you experience is a carefully created work of art. Every detail is intentionally planned and executed—nothing you see is generated by AI; it reflects true human creativity and artistry.
Do I need AR glasses to use Litary?
No! You only need your smartphone. Simply download the app after purchasing a Litary-integrated book and begin your AR experiences or find a local gallery that is hosting a Litary-integrated exhibition.
What devices are compatible with the Litary app?
All Apple iPhones and iPads, Android smartphones and tablets
Can I use the Litary app without buying a book?
Yes, in some cases. When art galleries might have exhibitions that are Litary-integrated you don't need to purchase a book or credits: access to the AR experiences is paid for by the gallery.
How do I purchase credits to access the AR content?
Purchasing credits is super easy! Simply sign up after downloading the app, once your account has been created and you sign in, click the dark pink "+" button in the top left corner. You will be directed to the credits page where you can choose your credit amount and continue to the payment method.
